About the field of study
Graduating from the only Human-Computer Interaction (HCI) field of study in Poland offers a unique opportunity to develop competencies that bridge the areas of engineering, social sciences, and design. During your studies, you will gain knowledge of the entire design process — from requirements gathering, through prototyping, optimization, and evaluation, to implementation.
You will learn using the latest digital technologies and prepare to work with those yet to come. Classes conducted in English, in a modern and interactive format, by an inspiring and diverse team, will not only broaden your horizons but also strengthen your social and professional skills — such as teamwork and public communication. Moreover, the Institute of Applied Computer Science’s broad international cooperation provides contact with specialists and experts in HCI from around the world.
In today’s rapidly changing economy, interdisciplinarity and diverse skill sets are increasingly valued. As a result, education and professional development in Human–Computer Interaction represent an attractive and forward-looking study path. Professionals in this field are in high demand globally, not only in ICT and digital services but also in industries such as consumer electronics, automotive, robotics, aerospace, medical technologies, and telecare.
