About the field of study

Chemical and Biochemical Engineering is a field of study that allows you to gain a foundation in advanced technologies that can transform materials and raw materials into useful products. Students will learn about processes such as pollution removal and new energy technologies (including biofuels). Future chemical and biochemical engineering specialists will be responsible for implementing circular economy principles in key economic sectors. It is therefore essential to know how to reuse raw materials and increase energy efficiency, so the future engineer will gain an education in fields such as mechanics, automation, computer science, and, above all, knowledge of substance separation processes. In this field of study, students also learn to apply knowledge of biology, chemistry and engineering to conduct processes and manufacture various products by biotechnological methods.
