Polish language

If you want to study in the Polish language, you should meet one of the requirements listed below:

  • have knowledge of the Polish language at the level required for applying for the Pole's Card, or
  • have completed a one-year preparatory course for taking up studies in Polish in units designated by the minister responsible for higher education, or
  • have a certificate of proficiency in Polish issued by the State Commission for the Certification of Proficiency in Polish as a Foreign Language (information about the certificate and examinations can be found at: certyfikatpolski.pl), or
  • have completed a Polish language course at a language school and obtained a language certificate at B1 level.
  • in case you study or have studied in the Polish language, provide a document issued by your Secondary School/University confirming that Polish is/was the medium of instruction or

 

  • take TUL's Polish language exam - an online test and an online interview.

English language

If you want to study in the English language, you should hold one of the international certificates:

  • First Certificate in English (FCE), Certificate in Advanced English (CAE), Certificate of Proficiency in English (CPE), Business English Certificate (BEC) Vantage — at least Pass, Business English Certificate (BEC) Higher, Certificate in English for International Business and Trade (CEIBT), Cambridge English - ECCE, level B2, or
  • International English Language Testing System IELTS – 6 points or more – certificates issued by University of Cambridge ESOL Examinations, or
  • British Council, IDP IELTS Australia, or
  • Educational Testing Service (ETS) — in particular, the following certificates: Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) - at least 87 points in the Internet-Based Test (iBT) version; Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) — at least 180 points in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) version supplemented with at least 50 points from the Test of Spoken English (TSE); Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) —  at least 510 points in Paper-Based Test (PBT) with at least 3.5 points from the Test of Written English (TWE) and at least 50 points from the Test of Spoken English (TSE); Test of English for International Communication (TOEIC) —  at least 700 points, or
  • Edexcel, Pearson Language Tests, Pearson Language Assessments — in particular, the following certificates: London Tests of English, from Level 3 (Edexcel Level 1 Certificate in ESOL International),

or

  • in case you already study or have studied in the English language, provide a document issued by your Secondary School/University confirming that English was medium of instruction or
  • take TUL's English language exam.

French language

If you want to study in French language, you should hold one of the international certificates:

  • Diplôme d’Etudes de Langue Française (DELF), Diplôme Approfondi de Langue Française (SAFL) – issued by the French Ministry of National Education (National Commission for the DELF and DALF exams), or
  • Certificat d’accès au DALF organised by the French Institute, or
  • Diplôme de Langue Française (DL), Diplôme Supérieur d’Etudes Françaises Modernes (DS.), Diplôme des Hautes Etudes Françaises (DHEF) – issued by the Alliance Française,

or

  • in case you already study or have studied in the French language, provide a document issued by your Secondary School/University confirming that French was medium of instruction.

 

 

Apply without a language certificate! - TUL's exam

 

In case you don't have an international language certificate not meet the above mentioned conditions, don't worry!

 

You can apply for TUL's Language Exam!

 

TUL's Language Centre offers the possibility to take the English language exam or the Polish language exam, which consist of an online test and an online interview.
You can use the certificate we issue as a document confirming your sufficient level of English / Polish and apply to TUL.

 

How to apply?

 

Apply online via Candidate Portal, within the deadline. Provide general information like your: type of exam (English or Polish?) and your Skype ID.


You must also send a scan of your passport or ID. It will be used to verify your identity during the online interview (the camera must be on).

Notice: the TUL language exam is organized when admission is open.

When will the exam take place?

The language exam will be held on 27th of  February 2024  (test) and 29th of February 2024 (interview) ONLINE. 

You will receive information about the test in the candidate portal. Wait patiently.
