Competencies you will gain
About you
Did you know that in Stockholm many subway stations were designed in the spirit of organic architecture, which was shaped analogously to nature? Among other things, you can find bare rocks in their natural form. Moreover, pre-existing caves were often used in the construction of individual stations. This ensured that not only did the new installations fit into the local infrastructure, but also took advantage of the natural terrain. Such measures have helped to reduce costs and materials, but also to design infrastructure to fit the environment. These are the values that form the basis of modern architecture and civil engineering - if you, too, want to learn to act in accordance with them, choose a second-cycle study at Lodz University of Technology!
During your second-cycle studies, you will develop spatial imagination and sensitivity to colors, proportions and the play of light. You will gain knowledge of how to interact with specialists from other technical, humanistic and artistic fields in your design work. The ability to lead the interior design execution process will allow you to manage the work of the team in both newly designed and adapted facilities. You will also gain a background in scientific research in the discipline of architecture and urban planning.
