About the field of study

The Digital Management field of study responds to current socio-economic challenges resulting from technological changes. It aims to prepare digital management professionals with a unique set of engineering competences and skills in the area of state-of-the-art organizational and management solutions, enabling them to operate freely in a virtual environment and be able to create them. The Digital Management course consists of a managerial component and an information technology component. The courses planned for the degree program equip students with the digital competences needed in today's labor market.
 

The study program includes both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in the field of digital technologies, data analysis and collection, visualization and presentation, and design of digital business solutions, which prepares students to work in various sectors of the economy. Knowledge of IT and management in the digital economy enables students to analyze and implement digital strategies and understand global economic processes. Education in this field is based on modern and engaging methods, such as Design Thinking, Problem Based Learning, Challenge Base Learning and Flipped Education, including distance learning.

For those seeking to navigate the complexities of the digital economy, gain a deep understanding of contemporary societal and consumer dynamics, and critically engage with transformative technologies—such as artificial intelligence (AI), the Metaverse, immersive environments (AR, VR, XR, MR), social media, automation, and robotics—Digital Management offers a comprehensive and future-oriented academic path. You will gain knowledge in engineering sciences such as computer science, programming, modeling and reverse engineering, databases, intelligent sensors, human-computer interaction and human-AI. 
 

You will acquire competences in the management of digital organizations, as well as in economics and finance, marketing, project management and communication in the digital world. You will develop proficiency in utilizing advanced IT systems that support decision-making processes within enterprises, including business applications, software for business process simulation, data analysis and statistical processing tools, as well as cloud-based platforms for financial management. You will learn the principles of human-computer interaction along with the basics of programming, uses engineering modeling software and reverse engineering technologies in the enterprise. You will not only navigate the digital landscape with confidence and recognize the growth opportunities digital transformation offers to organizations, but also operate effectively in an international environment, supported by a study program delivered entirely in English.
