The main objective of the degree program in management engineering is to provide students with knowledge and practical skills related to the creation, modification, implementation, and maintenance of effective technical and organizational solutions with the application of interdisciplinary knowledge. In addition, the curriculum enables students to learn foreign language skills at B2 level.
The curriculum of the program provides for engineering training modern technical and technological solutions, materials science, engineering graphics, mechanics, and environmental engineering. Appropriate balance of knowledge and skills in the field of technical sciences and social sciences (management, economics, finance, law, marketing and computer-aided techniques and methods) forms the graduate profile of a modern executive engineer.
The curriculum is continuously optimized based on the surveys conducted by the Career Service of Lodz University of Technology and ongoing discussions between the academic staff of Lodz University of Technology and business representatives.
Graduates find employment in operational, analytical, and specialist positions at various levels of management. The three specializations allow graduates to effectively build their careers in the sector of small enterprises, multinational corporations, and public administration. Due to the interdisciplinary nature of their education, they work easily with designers, technologists, economists, IT specialists, and other specialists, and actively work in project teams, both in business organizations and the public sector.
